Meet Mary

Hello new friends!

My name is Mary Wolfe. I am a Christian mom, writer, speaker, and blogger extraordinaire!

I am so excited to start this journey of discovery with you!

I have four quirky kids. A wonderful husband. A loving church. And my fair share of mistakes, mishaps, and downright catastrophes to share with you. My life is not cookie cutter by any stretch of the imagination, nor have I found this walk with the love of my life, Jesus, to be either.

One thing you need to know about me is that I didn’t happen into this life of following Jesus by mistake. I didn’t have the normal, Christian, Sunday morning services, and Wednesday night bible study upbringing. I grew up in a home marred by alcoholism and mental illness. I spent my formative years living on the streets and tried hard drugs for the first time at the tender age of 12. My life has not been an easy one and I spent the better part of it with bitterness and anger ruling my heart. Sin had completely crushed me.

The first signs of a real chance at life came to me during a two year stretch in a state penitentiary. It was there that Jesus called me out of the darkness and into the light of eternity. It’s safe to say that I’m a bit of Christian Bad Girl. Ha! But I decided then and there that if He would help me salvage what was left in the ashes of my existence, then I would spend every breath I had left on this earth telling the world what He had done for me. So, that brings me here, with you! And I can’t wait to get started…

I want to get real with you about what being a Christian woman means to real women. Life is messy! And we are imperfect people living in an imperfect world. So how do we navigate in a culture telling us that “anything goes,” and a Savior telling us to press into Him and rely on His eternal truth? In 2019, we are torn between a culture telling us that anything goes, and a Savior telling us to press into Him and rely on His eternal truth.

These questions about living, and so many more, are the reason why I wanted to create a space to re-center, to foster growth, and cultivate encouragement so that we can go out into the world and be the women that our Creator created us to be!

So, grab a cup of coffee, kick back, and open your heart to the best that He has for us!
